Got tired of that (especially since I'm waiting for an important call), so I actually spoke this time. I said "Hello" first, because if I don’t, they don’t say a word. Then they asked if [my name] was in. I asked who was calling, and they just repeated, “Is [my name] there?” So I told them, “That depends, who’s calling?” The guy said he’d ring back later today and possibly tomorrow to check if she’s around. And then he hung up. So annoying!

For the last three weeks they've been ringing me almost every day, sometimes loads times a day. I'm hesitant to block the number in case it really is something urgent, but whenever I pick up, they just put the phone down. If you try to call them back, a recorded message says "your call is important to us please hold the line," but there's no company name mentioned, seems pretty sketchy. I wouldn't bother ringing back, reckon you might get landed with a huge phone bill.

Picked up thinking it might be something urgent. Turns out it wasn’t. Some guy goes "Hello, can I speak to Miss?" I said "That’s me." Then he says "Hello Kirsty, you spoke to one of my team a while back about PPI." I told him straight up I don’t have PPI and this call was a waste of time. He just said "Alright" and before he could get another word in I ended the call.
