Like others have said, it was a woman ringing about some PPI claim. I said I wasn’t interested and she wanted to know why. I ended up going on a little ramble about how annoying cold calls are and then she just hung up on me before saying anything else. Of course, I’ve blocked that number straight away.

Got 29 calls over the past few months - decided to ring back and they’ve got the nerve to play a recorded message saying "because of all the unwanted calls we get, we don’t answer calls from numbers with no caller ID anymore". Talk about pot calling the kettle black!!

I've received a staggering 19 calls from this number over the past month! Eventually, I decided to return the call to discover the reason behind their incessant ringing. Lo and behold, it turned out to be about PPI claims. The agent droned on about potential refunds, but I swiftly told him I had no interest in having his company assess anything for me and hung up before he could continue. It's peculiar how they ring, but there's often no response on the line. So, I thought I’d call them to get to the bottom of it. It seems they’ve found a clever workaround; since you’re the one initiating the call, they don't classify it as a cold call. Quite the tactic, I must say!
