So I blocked this number as it kept ringing me about accident claims, but now they’ve switched to what seems like a mobile - the most recent call came from 07835 793576. They say the same thing, 'I’m calling regarding your recent car accident', but when I ask them to specify which accident, they just cut me off. Pretty annoying!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been bombarded with over 30 calls from these folks. As soon as I blocked one number, they simply switched to others with the same area code. They claim their websites are www.claimssolutions.com, www.claimteam.co.uk, and www.compensationclaims.co.uk. I’ve checked with two of these sites that list contact numbers, and both told me that scammers are using the number 01639326984 pretending to be them. This has to be against the law, right? Isn’t there any way for the authorities to get those UK numbers cancelled or blocked? It’s so frustrating.

Since Sunday 22nd November, I’ve had three calls daily from the same lot. I told them twice to stop bothering me, yet on the third call I warned I’d start charging them £5 a minute if they kept ringing and that I’d purposely hold the next caller just to bill them (which is perfectly legal if you record the call, especially on a mobile where an app can do it).
