This guy has been ringing me non stop for three days. First day he called once, then the next day he tried twice more. Not once did they leave a voicemail or any message, even when I texted back asking who was calling. Just from that alone, I’d say don’t pick up, especially after seeing what others have said here. If it was Vodafone like they claim, they’d have sent some sort of email or message to explain, but I’ve got nothing. My advice? Just block and ignore it.

seems like a classic scam! the lady sounded really polite and claimed she was ringing from the newbury branch (the number did line up) and you could clearly hear a load of background noise like she was in a hectic office. she said they wanted to offer me a better deal on my mobile contract and asked for the last 2 digits of my pin “for security reasons”. i told her i wasn’t happy sharing that info and just ended the call.
