I struggled to catch what the woman was saying, but it seemed to revolve around insurance. I have a strong hunch this was a scam call.

Received a call with no sound at all. The line stayed open without disconnecting.

I received a call from a chap who claimed to represent an energy conservation firm. When I told him I wasn't keen on his dubious pitch, he became quite irate, so I simply ended the conversation. I've since made sure to block his number.

I've received a barrage of calls from this number—seven in total—within just two hours, specifically from six to eight in the evening. I picked up once and it was clearly some sort of call centre judging by the chatter in the background. I asked them to stop calling, but lo and behold, it rang again a mere ten minutes later! Quite infuriating, really!

The phone rang thrice in the span of a single day. On two occasions, there was silence, even though the line was active. The third time, it disconnected almost immediately. I initially presumed it was a call centre from abroad, but it turned out to be from Newport, which is exceedingly frustrating.

I've received calls from this number on five separate occasions over the past week. I’ve chosen not to pick up and they’ve not left any voicemails. It’s quite clear that this is likely a sales call or some sort of scam.

In reference to my previous message, I decided to pick up on the fourth attempt. The person on the line had quite a pronounced foreign accent and inquired whether I was the homeowner. I informed them that I don’t entertain unsolicited calls and promptly hung up. Nevertheless, the calls keep rolling in on a daily basis, yet I choose not to engage as my caller ID filters them out.

They requested I fork out £199 for a course that supposedly guarantees a position listed on their job portal. I was told to pay a £50 deposit today, with the remaining balance due when I show up for the course.

I'm absolutely fed up with the constant pestering from these individuals. If it doesn't come to a halt soon, I’ll have no choice but to bring the police into the matter.
