It was quite apparent that the call was coming from a call centre; there was a considerable amount of noise in the background. They inquired whether I was the resident of the household, which immediately raised my suspicions—definitely sounded dodgy! I decided to feign ignorance, acting as though I couldn't quite grasp their questions. Before long, they simply disconnected.

I received a call from a persistent telemarketer, and I requested to be removed from their mailing list before they abruptly ended the call.

I've noticed several missed calls coming from this Newport number, and to be honest, I'm quite baffled. I've hardly got any acquaintances from that area, so it’s a mystery to me who might be trying to reach out. I opted not to return the call, as I'm unsure of the intentions behind it.

I've just received a call from this number, and I can confirm it's a total con. My suggestion? Don't bother picking up and make sure to block it straight away!

Just received yet another dodgy phone call.

Received a call during the early hours of the evening. I picked up and greeted with a "hello", hanging on for a good minute. When it became clear there was no reply, I muttered something along the lines of "no response, must be a scam." Just as I sensed someone was on the verge of speaking, I decided to hang up before they could get a word in.
