Got a call from someone saying they wanted to chat about a survey I supposedly did on loft insulation. When I asked who they were, they said something like National Insulation Survey Company or something along those lines. I just ended the call. Feels like it was a scam to me.

When I asked what the call was about, they said it was some survey, but honestly, I couldn’t make out what they were saying even after asking them to repeat it like 3 times! They kept saying it wasn’t a scam or anything dodgy - yeah right! I just ended the call. Tried ringing the number back afterwards and it said the number wasn’t valid.

This number rang me 4 times over just two days. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise or have saved. If it was someone legit and not a scammer, you'd expect them to leave a voicemail, right? But nope, no message at all! Plus, my phone showed a big red alert saying it might be a scam. Got this call from some bloke with a really strong Indian accent, struggled to make out what he was saying properly. He kept going on about doing some government survey about national health and something called 'prospective payment system' or whatever. I had to ask him thrice where he got my number from, and all he said was that the survey doesn’t cost me anything and asked if that’s alright. I wasn’t having any of it and told him straight away I consider this an uninvited call, so no, it’s not okay. Hung up and blocked his number without a second thought.

I didnt pick up but rang back. A voice recording asked me to give my name, address, and number if i wanted to opt out, but didnt say what exactly i was opting out from. Id say this call is somewhere between annoying and shady.
