This number persistently rings me and is quite bothersome.

Earlier today, I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be involved in housing repairs. This individual was attempting to pry personal details from me. It's quite alarming, really, as this appears to be a rather sinister scam. I would strongly advise everyone to be wary and not to engage with him in any way.

When I mentioned that I'm currently living in a tent rather than a proper home, they just cut the call. Quite baffling, really!

The individual on the other end of the line asserted they were from some dodgy housing repair agency I'd never heard of. Oddly enough, the number popped up as being from Newport, Wales. So, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and responded in Welsh, asking him to continue that way. He promptly hung up on me. Quite clearly a scam, if you ask me!

I received a voicemail which mentioned that someone has flagged up issues regarding the property.

My phone didn’t make a sound at all; I only noticed a missed call notification. It was sitting right next to me the whole time – rather dodgy if you ask me!

I chose not to pick up as the number was unfamiliar, and they didn’t bother to leave a message. An hour later, I received another call from 01256 231651 (Basingstoke) which, interestingly enough, has also been associated with similar dodgy housing repair scams according to comments here. So, just a heads-up to everyone!

This number seems rather dodgy. I'd steer clear of it if I were you! Alternatively, if you're feeling cheeky and have a bit of spare time, why not have a laugh and keep them occupied instead? Just a thought!

I received a rather suspicious call about damp issues, dry rot, and mould. True to form for a dodgy telemarketer, there was a significant pause before they began talking, and the voice on the other end had a distinct East Asian inflection.

I've been receiving calls from the same number, yet no one ever picks up when I answer. It's rather puzzling, especially when it’s a stranger.

I received an automated call claiming to be a follow-up from a housing repair service, though I have no idea which one. The call seemed to originate from Newport in South Wales, but let me be clear: I do not reside in Newport, nor have I raised any concerns regarding housing repairs. Quite perplexing!

Just received a rather dodgy call about some supposed housing repairs – damp issues and the like. The moment I mentioned that we weren’t experiencing any problems, they abruptly ended the call. Definitely smells like a scam to me!

I've received a flurry of calls from this number, all in rapid succession. Every time I declined to answer, it rang again almost immediately afterwards. Quite persistent, I must say!
