This seems to be one of those 'we combat any claim' operations, which, as the name implies, does exactly that (I discovered this after I received a callback). It’s clearly a telemarketing attempt. Not long ago, I acquired a few car insurance quotes via Confused.com, and shortly after, I received a rather polite call from a Chinese woman keen to conduct a survey. Charming as she was, it became obvious that the whole thing was simply a ploy to gather additional details about me, specifically my surname and phone number. The questions she posed were cleverly designed to gauge my potential interests, which leads me to suspect that they're planning to sell my information to telemarketers or those list brokers, as they seem to label themselves. Since that encounter, I've been bombarded with roughly ten calls from people claiming to be solicitors who wish to represent me based on the topics discussed in the survey - bear in mind these subjects were all seemingly noted down, and my indecisive grunts were apparently interpreted as consent until I decided enough was enough and terminated the call. - Caller ID: We fight any claim

I've received a call from someone claiming to be involved in PPI recovery from the past twenty years, but they didn't have any specific details regarding my loans. I suspect this is nothing more than a ruse to siphon off personal information. Definitely sounds like a scam!
