Seemed harmless enough but it was really a sneaky way to beef up their list with my phone number and surname. The questions were about my interests, which I reckon was so they could sell my details to telemarketers or those list brokers. Since then, I’ve had about 10 calls from folks pretending to be solicitors wanting to represent me for stuff mentioned in that survey - and funny thing is, they treated my grunted responses like a yes, right up until I ended the call.
