Hey all, just wanted to share something I learnt today. If you pick up these calls, or even your voicemail picks up, you end up being charged for the call! It can be as much as 40p per minute. So, best thing is to not answer at all, or if you do, don’t let them play their music for ages on the line! That’s why they keep ringing us. Also, if you do chat with them, they might manage to get your info, which is even worse.

Had loads of calls from a ppi claims firm, they keep switching their phone numbers so you can hardly block them all. Bet the phone companies are laughing all the way to the bank with these lot. FPS doesn’t help much either, it just blocks telemarketers not these annoying ppi callers. Totally useless.

We Fight Any Claim is a decent setup, really. They’ll give you a ring once you’ve lodged a claim, just to inform you that your bank or retailer has acknowledged the PPI, and then they guide you through a series of questions designed to maximise your potential payout. If you're finding it bothersome, perhaps it's because you’ve forgotten you were in touch with them, which seems to be the situation for quite a few of the folks commenting here. They even let you know when you sent back your claims pack. - Caller: We Fight Any Claim.
