Truecaller picked up on it being a spam call and alerted me straight away, so I didn’t pick up either time they rang my phone. I’ve now blocked the number, so hopefully, they won’t bother me anymore.

Honestly, if I get a call from a number I don’t know, I just let it ring out. If it’s important, especially on your mobile, they’d send a text first, but they hardly ever do that. Usually it’s just a voicemail waiting, which I ignore too. Seems simple enough - real calls would just drop a message first.

Received a call claiming they'd sorted my PPI, but then they suddenly shifted gears to push life insurance, saying they were associated with OneFamily. The bizarre part? The number definitely isn't OneFamily's! I could sort it myself on their official website, but they pressured me for my bank details over the phone to set up a direct debit, which sounded dodgy, to say the least. OneFamily’s site doesn’t mention this company at all; they go by We Fight Any Claim too, apparently. Best to steer clear, I reckon!

Got a call saying they handled my PPI but then pushed life insurance on me, claiming to be from One Family. The number wasn’t even theirs, and I could've sorted it myself on One Family’s site. They tried to make me give bank info for a DD setup, but One Family’s website doesn’t mention them at all. They also call themselves We Fight Any Claim or We Plan Group. Stay clear, you can hear someone in the background coaching them what to say. Total scam, proper dodgy.

I received a call from someone claiming they'd sorted out my PPI, but then they pivoted to offering life insurance, saying they were affiliated with One Family. However, I couldn't find a contact number for them affiliated with that organisation. To make matters worse, they insisted I provide my bank details over the phone to set up a direct debit, even though I checked and found no mention of this company on the One Family site. They go by the name of We Fight Any Claim, which is basically We Plan Group. I strongly advise steering clear of them-there was someone coaching the caller in the background, and it all felt rather dodgy.

Got a call saying I was owed a refund for PPI, but I never had anything to do with PPI, so its obviously a scam.

I totally agree, this caller is a proper pain, a real nuisance who rings from loads of similar numbers all using the same area code. Luckily, our phone shows the number so we just ignore them. They ring nearly every day, sometimes twice a day, and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. I accidentally picked up one call not long ago and told them we’d already sorted our own PPI claim with the bank, which is true. But still, they wouldn’t drop it, saying they’ve got other services we might want!

It was some PPI firm that kept ringing me. I picked up the last time, but the connection was awful, so I asked if I could sort my claim through the post instead. The lady said they only deal over the phone, so I told her to just cancel it. Now they keep calling like I never said anything!
