Some bloke said he was from "we fight any claim". Proper rude and didn’t wanna hear a nice "can I stop you there?" I just told him not to ring me again and ended the call. His time wasted really.

Had a call on the 14th of August from someone claiming to be with Wayfinder services - no idea who they are! I told her I wasn't interested and promptly ended the conversation. I've now blocked the number.

EXTREMELY RISKY. I tracked down this company pretending to be calling from Nationwide using the numbers 01227712576 & 01618143567. They start off by asking if you’re older, where you live, if you own any credit cards and whether your mortgage is paid off. After that, they try to get your bank info under the guise of a free PPI claim.

Got a call from some PPI claims company, this was like my 100th call from them. They seem to know all about my money situation but when I asked them which bank I use, they couldn’t tell me. Strange!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Phone Spot, linked to Car Phone Warehouse, asking to speak to me by name. Thing is, the phone contract is under my husband’s name. Just a heads up for everyone to watch out!

Got a call from 01633473397 on 3rd July 2017. A woman with an English accent tried to speak to me by name, saying she’d do a free no strings check for any PPI I might have paid. I kept telling her I’m sure I didn’t have any, but she kept going on about how all bank managers lie or something. I’ve blocked the number now.

No idea, wouldn’t even give a straight answer! Kept asking who he was trying to reach, but I wouldn’t say anything until he told me the company name, which he never did. Asked to speak to a manager, probably didn’t get one, yet he kept firing questions at me. I still didn’t say a word until he said who he was. Best to just ignore this number.

I got a call the other day where the person on the line asked specifically for my husband. When I inquired further, they mentioned they were ringing to discuss a survey he had taken not too long ago. I had to remind them that he sadly passed away around nine months back.

Got a call from this number on 31/10 around 7.20pm, didn’t pick up as it was a number I didn’t recognise. Later checked it online and it turns out to be a cold call. We never asked about any home insurance or anything.
