So I got a call about a car crash that supposedly involved me, but I've never even owned a car, I always get around on buses and trains. Pretty confusing!

I answered the phone and a woman started talking, saying she had info about me being involved in a car crash. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy scam calls.

Got another one of those bogus insurance calls today - this is the second time! These scammers must be raking it in if they’re bothering to call me twice. Bloody nuisance.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise but there was absolutely no noise on the other end, just silence. Very strange.

I picked up the phone and asked who's calling, but no reply. After a pause, they started going on about some insurance stuff.

At first, it was just silence on the line, then it seemed like a call centre was on the other end, but no one actually spoke!

Sounds like a total rip-off to me.

Got a call about some crypto thing, tried to pitch me some stuff I wasn’t interested in. Told them to jog on right away.

Just like a lot of others have said, I made it pretty clear to the bloke where he could shove it. I really can't stand these pest callers.

Caution! This lot are up to no good. A caller with some cock-and-bull story about being from the WorldWideWeb Server over in London tried to get me to turn on my computer. He alleged there was a critical issue with my Windows internet. I pressed him for details and he became quite pushy. Do yourself a favour and steer clear!

I saw all the reviews and honestly I’m relieved I didn’t pick up. This number called my elderly mum and dad’s place, so better safe than sorry!

Big thanks to everyone who flagged this number! They've rung me a bunch of times but luckily I've got them blocked now.

Seriously, dont pick up if this number rings. Its some crazy scam where they trick you into moving your own money around to make it seem like Microsoft has paid you back or something. They tell you not to log into your online bank cause they claim scammers are after you, but in reality, its just them messing with your computer and even spying through your camera! By the time you try to check your account, its already emptied. I can't stress enough, just dont talk to them at all.

I got a call from 01632 960 191, the person had an Indian accent and asked me how my computer was doing, then just suddenly ended the call.

Oh, how disappointing! I was hoping for a bit of banter. I always enjoy the idea of letting out a good shout over the phone, just to liven things up for them!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who claimed he was from something like ‘global web services’ and said my computer had problems. I’ve been in IT for over two decades, so I didn’t bother sugar-coating it and told him to find real work. Ended the call pretty sharpish. Honestly, sounds like a classic scam - they’ll probably try to convince you to let them access your computer remotely to sneak in dodgy software or who knows what else. Stay sharp!

Phoney phone number!
This so-called 'Windows' service is nothing but a scam for malware and viruses. They’ll attempt to trick you into downloading a dodgy programme that ends up wrecking or pilfering your files. After that, they’ll come knocking, asking for cash to sort out the mess they've made. Best to steer clear of this lot!

Received three calls today, and not a peep from the other end. So frustrating!

Got a call from 01632960191 from a bloke speaking with what sounded like an Indian accent. He said something about my computer needing attention. I've been caught out once before by a scam like this where they pretended to be from Microsoft International, so I told him I wasn’t interested and asked to be removed from their calling list. After that, I just ended the call.

I called to inquire about our Windows 7 PC, but as soon as I asked for specifics, the person on the other end abruptly hung up. Quite clearly, it seemed rather dodgy. They refused to provide their name or the name of their business, which raised all sorts of red flags.
