Got a call from a woman claiming to be with Honey Legal. She told me the government can now take my property and sell it off to cover social care costs. From what I've seen with my family, that’s just rubbish. She kept trying to convince me, but I told her I’ve got plenty saved up for any social care needs - had to bluff a bit! After that, she just gave up and ended the call. Really grateful for websites like this where you can check if something sounds dodgy or not.

Since the start of 21st October 2019, this number has rung me 8 times. I never picked up any of the calls. After seeing what others have said, it seems pretty clear that this could count as harassment.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying they needed to confirm I wanted to cancel my Prime sub. I said I’d already got an email proof for that. Then they tried to get me to install some quick fix app. They even mentioned my bank details, made me think this was dodgy. Asked them to call back when my son was around but all they did was keep refusing. Ended up just hanging up on them.

This bloke claimed to be with some outfit called Honey Legal, said they handle estate stuff. Couldn't believe I hadn’t heard of them before! Then he started going on about how the government might grab "everything you’ve earned" to pay for social care, and asked how I’d feel if there was nothing left for family. I told him I’ve got no assets at all and just ended the call. Total scam, avoid.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a “legal company”, sounded dodgy to me. I asked if they were a solicitor or financial advisor, but they were very careful not to confirm either. They kept going on about this “Estate Planning” stuff, which just seemed like a load of rubbish. Definitely felt like some kind of scam.

had a call from someone called gemma at honey legal who kept going on about the government taking your house to pay for social care. once i said i didn’t have any kids she lost interest really quick. honestly, this kind of chat could really worry older folk who do have kids, and i’m pretty sure it’s a dodgy scam.

this number has rang me twice now, but i didn´t pick up cause i didn´t know who it was. both times, no voicemail or anything was left behind. usually if someone important calls, they´d drop a message asking you to ring back, so i reckon these calls were probably not legit.
