I couldn't help but notice that their Trustpilot rating hovers around an impressive 4.9 out of 5. However, I can't shake the feeling that many of these reviews seem a tad contrived. The negative reviews, which I believe to be more credible, bring to light a rather dubious claim from Honey Legal, part of the Honey Group, insisting they do not engage in cold calls. Funny enough, I just received a cold call from them myself regarding ways to sidestep care home fees. They also attempted to pitch me on wills and Power of Attorney services. Additionally, an employee's account on their website describing the work environment paints a rather grim picture: they referred to the team as a telesales operation riddled with egotistical management and relentless pressure to meet targets. Sounds rather inconsistent with their bold claims of not being a cold-calling enterprise, doesn't it? Got a call from 01233 748911, which I didn’t know, so I rang back. But my phone showed the number as Honey Legal 01630 293996 - a number I’d blocked before! Looks like they’ve found a way to get round blocked numbers now. It’s mostly rubbish sales patter about Free Wills and Powers of Attorney, and the advice they give is total nonsense.
