My mum got calls from this number twise in a row. This morning 30/12/2020 at around 10.17, I pickup up the phone. At first, the voice said they were from amazon customer help and claimed an iPhone was bought for £399. They said if we didn’t make the order to press 1 to talk to customer service. When i got connected, a woman said she was from amazon customer service. I told her it was a scam and that she wasn’t really from amazon, then I hung up. THE NUMBER WAS 01632048930

They were quite relentless in their inquiries, fixated on an elderly individual, trying to extract personal details like date of birth and address. They even went so far as to schedule a phone appointment regarding estate planning, which was completely unnecessary and unwelcome. My assistant reached out to them later that day, requesting the deletion of all their data and the cancellation of the appointment. Fingers crossed that's the last we hear from them.

This number has phoned me three times now. First, it was about an accident, then the second time I missed the call, and this morning they called again for 'Honey Legal' trying to push me to make a will. They kept saying it's legally required to have something called a Power of Eternity, which it really isn’t. I told the lady I work in care and understood the laws around being taken into care, and she didn’t sound too happy about that. She claimed the advice was free, but then mentioned there’d be some admin fees to pay. Definitely felt a bit off.

Proper nightmare, these dodgy companies keep phoning nonstop. I pick up, listen to who they say they are, then just hang up on them. Seriously, something needs to be done about this. I was under the impression cold calling like this was banned, but apparently not.
