Got a call early morning on Friday 21st December 2018, around 9:09, but there was just silence when I picked up. Decided to block that number straight away.

I was fed up with endless telemarketers ringing me, so I decided to get a phone with call screening built in. With this, any unknown number has to say who they are before the phone actually starts ringing. If it’s an automated call or scam, the phone won’t ring at all. Because I’ve saved all my friends and family in the phone’s memory, their calls come straight through like normal. Mine’s a BT model, but I’m sure other brands offer the same feature. It’s much more convenient than plugging in extra equipment. Honestly, I think everyone should consider one!

I got a call from 01629 230008 and it was a lady speaking with a strong foreign accent. She actually knew my name, which was a bit spooky, and kept going on about call blocking or somethin'. Honestly couldn’t catch half of what she was sayin’ cause of her accent, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from this number, the woman on the line said she was from CPS. When I mentioned I work with Sky Shield, she just disconnected right away. I’ve gone ahead and reported this to CPS. Total scam, be careful folks!

They’ve rung me again but there’s still no answer, this is getting seriously annoying now.

They've been ringing me a lot, like three times today and a bunch yesterday as well. I never answer, but it's really annoying because every time the phone goes, I have to look and see if I know who it is. I honestly wish there was a way to make them stop, but blocking one number probably just means they'll call from somewhere else.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from TPS, seemed like a complete scam to me. I warned her I’d contact the authorities about it!!

Someone called me saying they were from the TPS. When I asked for their name, they said Richard and gave me a number starting with 020, which I know is London. But after the call, I looked at my phone and saw the real number was 01629 - Matlock’s area code. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone called ‘Kim’ who said she was with the Telephone Preference Management Service. She asked if we were still getting unsolicited calls and wanted to check my postcode and address to 'improve' the service. I didn’t feel right giving any details so just ended the call. They did know our address though, which was odd. We’ve been getting these calls pretty much every day this week, from different numbers and voices - mostly Asian sounding - and I’ve blocked every one of them. Honestly, I’m certain it’s some sort of scam or at least not legit.

Someone rang up saying they were from the TPS. I asked them which part of the country they were calling from and they said West London. I then told them that London numbers usually start with 0207 or 0208, not whatever number they were using. After that, they just cut me off. Total scam attempt!
