Totally a con! The woman called herself Jayne and sounded like she was from England. She actually told me my complete address and full name, which was a bit creepy. Then she asked for my sort code and even wanted the three digits on the back of my card, claiming it was to verify I owned the card. Yeah right, as if I'll give that info out!

Eric from Telephone Preference Management just called me to check if I’ve been getting any unwanted calls. I said yes, definitely this number. He claimed I hadn’t contacted them earlier. I told him no, but they’ve been ringing me!

I told Telephone Preference Management to buzz off and quit ringing me!

This number kept ringing me loads today when I was out and had called quite a few times earlier in the week too. I just didn’t pick up any of them. Seeing what others have mentioned, I've flagged it as risky. Sounds like it could easily scam someone who’s not careful.

I answered after they called a few times, but no one said anything and then they just hung up.

Today, they called me 3 times and kept asking for my mum, who passed away more than a year ago. It really annoyed me a lot!

Got called silently three times in the same day, no idea who it was.

They seem to switch their number nearly every day! It’s the same dodgy firm behind it all. Really risky stuff, best stay clear.

I rang the number back and got some automated message from outside the UK saying the line isn’t active anymore... typical really!

Had a call earlier today that really unnerved me. They seemed too aware of me having reported those annoying nuisance calls lately. Could it be someone on the inside leaking info? What freaked me out even more was when the caller asked for my bank details to verify something about a direct debit!! She even wanted me to grab my cheque book to read out the info over the phone. That’s when I lost my temper and just ended the call. Be careful out there!

This number has called me a few times, claiming to be from the UK TPS and asking if I’m still receiving scam calls. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent who told me his name was John. He claimed to be calling from the TPS, checking if I was still receiving scam calls. He then went on asking some personal details before enquiring if my phone bills were still being paid to BT by direct debit. I told him I wasn’t sure as my husband usually handles that. He asked to speak to my husband, but I said he wasn’t home right now. Right after that, he ended the call. Definitely a scam, since I know TPS wouldn’t be ringing to check up on scam calls like that.
