Just called this number 01625921551, it seemed like a business line but when I picked up no one was there. After a few seconds some automated voice came through and said “Goodbye” then it ended the call. Bit strange really.

Every time I pick up the phone, they seem to disconnect as soon as I say hello. If I dare to return the call, I’m greeted by a recorded message in an American voice that thanks me for reaching out to Discount Utilities or something along those lines. This bloke calling me was seriously relentless, might as well have been a scammer. He kept pushing for information even after I said I wasn’t interested. When I told him to stop, he just ignored me so I ended the call. Then, believe it or not, he rang me back three more times in about two minutes using different phone numbers! I had to tell him I’d report him to the cops if he didn’t leave me alone. Only then did he finally back off.

I usually don’t answer random numbers but since I was waiting for a call from Macclesfield I thought I’d give it a go. Seems like hanging up was the best move, judging by other reviews here.
