Received a couple of calls from this number. They keep prattling on about wills and whatnot. The person on the other end has a rather thick Indian accent. I couldn’t quite catch the name of the 'company' they mentioned-sounded a bit like Grabit & Run, but honestly, who knows? Just a heads up, seems like a major SCAM to me! - caller: unknown

Got a ring from someone named Rob who was pushing life insurance from some place called 'General Life' brokers. He knew my name and even an old address of mine, which seemed a bit off. I couldn't track down any info about that company online, so I'm thinking it might be a dodgy scam just trying to get personal info. Probably just one of those tedious sales calls or worse, some phishing attempt.

I received a rather intrusive call regarding life insurance from this lot. They were quite aware of my name and insisted they could offer me a more competitive rate. When they inquired about my existing coverage, I chose to remain tight-lipped. I mentioned I’d ring them back using the number they called from, but was met with the rather odd response that they don't accept incoming calls on that line. When I requested the caller, a woman, to clearly articulate the name of her company, as her accent was a tad hard to follow, she abruptly hung up on me. They've already tried reaching me thrice yesterday, and it seems they’re at it again today. I’m definitely going to block this number. Apparently, they’re operating out of Macclesfield.
