It didnt actually ring through but the caller ID said someone tried to call, which felt a bit dodgy. What annoys me most is these calls come from the same region my grandparents live in, so it really hits close to home. These scammers are just ruining things for folks, especially the elderly ones who rely on regular contact. Honestly, they should make scamming via phone a proper crime, its such a nuisance.

The gentleman I spoke with had an Indian accent, leading me to believe he was calling from a contact centre. He introduced himself as Jack, representing "My Telephone Surveys".

I received a dodgy call presenting itself as a survey, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

Got a call from some guy who spoke with an Indian accent, started with hello and how's it going. When I asked who he was, he just ended the call right away.

Picked up the phone, and it was some call centre named My Telephone Surveys. Some bloke called Jack said I was the first person who'd been kind to him - bless me, he said! I asked what the call was about, and he said he wanted to ask a few questions. I just ended the call and blocked the number.
