Got a random call from someone called Shaun, sounded like he had an Indian accent, was pushing some life insurance stuff I didn’t need at all. Total cold call hassle.

I’m registered with TPS, yet somehow they’re still getting through. It was a scam call pretending to offer life insurance. Not sure how they manage to ring when they’re not supposed to.

I've had this number ring me twice already today, 23 April 2019. Each time I pick up, it’s just silence on the other end before the call abruptly disconnects. From what I can gather, it’s from Macclesfield... I've decided to block the number outright and will see if they try to reach me using another one. Since I don't recognise anyone from Macclesfield and have never set foot there, I can’t say I’ll be losing out by ignoring any future calls. Really frustrating! 🤬

Got a call from a South African lady who sounded really sassy, kept asking for my info but refused to share any of hers. Asked her a couple of times to slow down cause her English was hard to get, and there was some noise like from an office in the background. Very frustrating!

Well, seems like I somehow ended up on this so-called National Insurance Database! Honestly, I’m not even sure that’s a real thing. I told the caller I’m on the TPS register and that I’d report them because I keep getting about 3 to 5 calls daily, even during Bank Holidays. The bloke kept saying he wasn’t trying to sell me anything but refused to hang up. I asked a couple of times for them to take me off their list, but the calls still keep coming. I’m definitely going to report them to TPS now.

Just like loads of others, I’ve been getting nonstop calls - rang me five times today alone. Thought the Telephone Preference Service was meant to stop this sort of thing? They say it’s from Macclesfield or somewhere around there, but these calls somehow slip right past TPS. Very annoying!
