Right away I could tell it was one of those sales calls when I answered. There was a weird silence before they said anything, so I just hung up. These calls are so annoying, especially when I’m looking for a job and worried about missing important calls.

Absolutely unsettling. They refuse to reveal their company name, instead bombarding me incessantly with the same daunting question: "Have you claimed the PPI you're entitled to?" It's nothing short of harassment. I've had to block multiple numbers originating from Macclesfield, but they just pop up again from another line. This sort of behaviour ought to be unlawful, or at the very least should face hefty penalties, making it not worth their while to ignore a simple 'no thank you' more than once.

It's the same bloke from Macclesfield again (using another number) who I asked before to stop calling me as I ain't interested and they're just wasting their time. Now I've gotta block all calls from Macclesfield. Feels like I'm being harrassed, it's proper scary when they've got your info but there's no way to trace them cause no employee ID or anything. It's honestly quite menacing. It’s ridiculous there aren’t stricter rules and penalties for these annoying, harassing calls from shady companies abusing personal data.

PPI calls are such a nightmare. I’ve got this app that blocks spam and scam numbers and honestly, I’d recommend anyone getting these calls to get one too. They can really save your sanity. I’m using one called ####, but there’s loads out there. If these scammers keep slipping through, they’ll just keep harassing folks, especially the elderly and vulnerable, who get targeted the most. So do yourself a favour and grab one of these free apps to block them out.
