Had a chat regarding solar panels and the necessity of getting them assessed for efficiency.

I just received a call from this number. My monitoring service activated, prompting me to request their identification. They began to respond, but once my voicemail picked up, they swiftly hung up. I've now blocked the number.

I appreciate the insights shared by others here. I took a moment to hear out the caller, but I ultimately decided against any sort of inspection—my preference is to engage only with well-established companies. Really not keen on letting cold callers have a look around my property. The whole thing sounded quite convincing, so I can see how folks might fall for these so-called "inspections."

Today, I received a call from a company called Efficient Energy. They expressed an interest in coming over to 'evaluate' my solar panels. They assured me that they'd provide a written report and wouldn't try to push any sales on me. I've gone ahead and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, 29th November 2022. I’ll be sure to post another update after the visit.

They said they were sent by the government to inspect our solar panels, but when I probed for more info or specifics, they couldn’t deliver. Ended up hanging up on me. Very suspicious!

I received a call that went straight to voicemail while I was out and about; there was an endless stream of music playing. I figured it was likely a telemarketing scam, so I decided to investigate further. After finding some info here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I received a dodgy call from a bunch claiming to be 'Efficient Homes', attempting to exploit folks' fears over soaring energy costs. Absolute scoundrels!

I had a rather overbearing chap on the line, purporting to be from “Efficient Homes”. He launched into a lengthy monologue about inspecting my inverter. The moment I tried to interject for clarification, he became a tad irritable. When I quizzed him on who my installer was, he completely missed the mark. Naturally, I hung up on him after that.

Claimed his name was John and insisted on using our first names. Rang us up two times in just one day!

It seems they've switched gears from energy services to mobile phones, and I heard that BT has hiked their prices lately. The chap I spoke to claimed he could snag a better deal for sole traders. Interestingly, he mentioned my old business name although I let him know I wrapped things up five years back. Is there anyone out there who can help get rid of this outdated info online?

I've had this number ring me twice today, but both times they hung up before I could pick up the phone. They left nothing on my voicemail, which makes me think they're probably just another nuisance caller.

Very relentless bunch! I've had a slew of calls from them lately. They were after a name that isn't associated with our address at all. As I mentioned that we're part of the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), the caller suddenly hung up on me. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone at "Efficient Homes" suggesting I should schedule a five-year inspection for my solar panels. A pal had previously warned me that this could just be a sales tactic, so I decided to hang up. I’d recommend that others be cautious and consider doing the same.

Beware of the solar panel con! I received a call claiming I needed a complimentary five-year inspection. A bloke named 'Sean' informed me that the original firm responsible for the installation was no longer operational. Honestly, any cold call that offers something at no cost is highly likely just a ruse to swindle you out of your cash. Stay vigilant, everyone!

I got a couple of calls from a company called 'Clear Renewables' regarding a solar panel inspection. The person on the line was very courteous and seemed quite convincing, but I wasn't familiar with the name. So, I took the extra step to reach out to our solar provider, and they informed me it was a con. I've since blocked the number to avoid any further hassle.

I received a call at half past twelve today from a chap named Connor, representing Clear Renewables, about my Solar PV Assessment. I kindly requested that he refrain from bothering me further, and he promptly ended the call. From what I’ve gathered from my neighbours, this so-called 'assessment' is just a pretext for pushing solar products. Best to steer clear of this!

I received a call from Clean Renewables, claiming it was time for an inspection of my inverter. They mentioned that the company which fitted my solar panels may have gone belly up. They insisted it wasn't just a sales pitch. Curiously, they said I had reached out to them via their website a while back—although I can't recall doing so!

I received a call from the aforementioned number today, but thankfully, my call guardian intercepted it. They announced the caller, but rather curiously, no message was left behind. From the little info I could gather, it seems to be one of those annoying harassing callers.

I've been receiving identical calls claiming that my solar installation firm has shut down, which is absolutely untrue since I've just had a chat with them. I received a rather dodgy sales call claiming I was due for an "efficiency assessment" courtesy of the MCS. Once I informed the caller that their spiel was nonsense and that I’m actually working in the PV sector, they swiftly ended the conversation. Be wary, folks! This seems to be a tactic aimed at tricking those with PV systems who might not be well-versed in the regulations.

This afternoon, I received another call from that number. The chap on the line, who called himself “James”, insisted he wasn’t part of a sales outfit but rather a service provider, which he believed gave him some sort of exemption from the law. He was incredibly cocky and quite full of himself, if I'm honest. I decided to cut the conversation short and end the call.
