Got a missed call from 01622826800 so I checked it out here. They called me again and this time I picked up. The person said a wrong name but mentioned my house name. They started rambling about DC current and solar panels. I told them it sounded like a scam and hung up. They called me right back after that but I just ignored it.

Today I got a call from Efficient Energy asking to check my solar panels. They assured me they’d provide a written report and wouldn’t try selling anything. I’ve arranged for them to come round next Tuesday, 29th November 2022. I’ll update here after they’ve been.

I've had this same number ringing me non stop, like 25 times this month, even tho I've blocked them! They say they're from Efficient Homes, offering a free check-up on my solar panels. They claim it's urgent because the National Grid might stop my payments if I don't. Honestly felt like blackmail. Sounds pretty desperate for clients if you ask me. Got a call from someone called Lewis claiming to be from Efficient Homes. He said my solar panels and inverter need a check, something that apparently should’ve been done five years ago. I stupidly booked an appointment for a bloke named Paul Clark to come round tomorrow at 3pm on the 8th of November for a “free inspection”. After looking up the number, I rang back and cancelled it. I’m an 82-year-old woman, not in the best health, live on my own and I’m quite vulnerable.

I got a ring earlier today from someone saying he was John, representing "Efficient Energy" on 01622826800. He wanted to chat about an "efficiency check" for my solar panels. Strangely, he already knew my last name and part of my address. Felt a bit dodgy to me. When I looked up Efficient Energy on Companies House, turns out they were struck off back in July 2015. No inspections are actually scheduled, and he definitely wasn’t from the company that set up my panels. Seems like a cheeky scam to me.

A bloke rang up polite enough and asked for me using my married name, said he was with Efficient Energy and wanted to book a service for our solar panels. I was suspicious though, as our panels are actually under my maiden name. I told him I had just chatted to our installer last week anyway. I'm not convinced these panels need checking unless they’re faulty or whatever. We get calls like this all the time, but normally the number’s hidden. No clue how to make them stop ringing.

Got a call from a friendly bloke saying our solar panels needed inspecting, something he'd claimed the original fitters should have done, and apparently his firm was doing a free check. I informed him we’re registered with the telephone preference service and that the call was unwelcome. The person was quite polite and sounded legit, but since I'd never heard of them before, I rang up my actual PV provider who confirmed it was a scam. After that, I just went ahead and blocked the number.

What a load of nonsense.

Under the MCS rules needed for claiming any incentives, firms have to follow a strict marketing code that bans cold calling anyone on the TPS list. These guys ignored that completely. Got another call on this number earlier today. The bloke calling said his name was James and insisted he wasn’t from a sales firm, but a service firm instead. He seemed really cocky and acted like he was above breaking any rules. I just ended the call straight away.

the number was unknown, had call protect active, no voicemail either. I was busy at the time.

I missed a call earlier and they didn't leave any message. So I tried 1471 to get the number, but when I called it back, BT played a recorded message saying the number wasn't valid or recognised. Bit frustrating really.

Had this annoying spam call the other day about solar panels or something. They kept going on about how I could save loads on my electric bill. Honestly, it felt like one of those pushy sales calls, but not really interested in any of it. Hate getting these random calls!
