Every time I pick up the phone, the line just goes dead! It's quite baffling, really.

It seems like there's a bit of a scam going on with this supposed free gadget.

So, the phone went off and I picked it up, only to find a woman on the other end wanting to chat with Mrs ?. I had to break the news that Mrs ? had sadly passed away due to cancer back in 2011. She seemed poised to respond, but I decided to cut the conversation short. Lately, I've been getting a number of calls from different folks asking for Mrs ?. It's quite peculiar, to say the least!

I wouldn't engage with them, there's something rather dodgy about that number.

Received a message saying it was an urgent alert and promised a callback. However, after investigating the number, it doesn’t appear to be credible at all. I wouldn’t take any chances with it, so I decided to block it.

I just had my third call from this number in the past 48 hours! A rather annoying recorded voice was on the line, insisting that if I wished for the calls to cease, I’d need to ring another number to opt out. Honestly, it’s beyond me why I should have to make a call to stop them when I never requested to be contacted in the first place!

They persistently ring me and then drop a voicemail that only states, "To be removed from our contact list, please ring 534535." It's rather baffling, as they never disclose their identity!

I received a call from them claiming I was in second place in a queue, but I hung up immediately.

Received a call from an unknown number, so I sent it straight to my Silent Calls category. It was a recorded message without any identification that warned they’d ring back unless I reached out to opt-out! After checking other folks’ experiences, I decided to block the number right away.

Received a call from a number I didn’t recognise. They didn’t bother to leave a message, so I decided to block them after seeing some comments here.

I waited ages for a reply, so I ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

I attempted to call the mobile number on two occasions but received no response, likely due to it being an unfamiliar number.

I was almost duped by a woman who appeared genuinely concerned about my husband and me, given that we're over 65. She kept saying we might require assistance in case of an emergency. Turns out, it was all a sham.

Received a call on my mobile that I suspected was a scam, so I chose not to answer. After checking this site, I've now blocked the number. Cheers to 'Who Called Me' for another helpful resource!

Constantly pestering.

Flagged as a scam by my phone’s security features. The call was terminated, and I’ve since added the number to my block list.

Whenever I receive unsolicited calls, I simply disregard them and then look up the number to see who it belonged to before I promptly block it.

Received a call from a mysterious number, yet they didn’t leave a message.

The recorded message informs you of your position in the telephone queue.

I received a rather incomplete message from this number, but I'm none the wiser about their identity! I think I'll just brush it off.

Failed to pick up the phone when it rang. 😕

Received a call that just played a robotic message saying, "We're experiencing high call volumes, please try again later." The irony, right? They were the ones who called me! I've since added them to my block list.

I received a call from someone saying that a third party had apparently charged £90 to my card. Was it actually me? If it wasn’t, they said to hit button "1". Well, I decided to just hang up instead.

Somebody called and then promptly disconnected. I could hear some sort of background commotion.
