Got a call from someone with a Brummie accent claiming to be from the road traffic agency saying "You've had a recent road traffic accident that's sorted but you might still be due compensation." When I asked what sort of accident and for details, he got all defensive and changed his story to "I said have you been in an accident recently." The bloke got really rude and started shouting over me when I asked for more info. As soon as he noticed I wasn’t falling for it, he just hung up. Don’t even pick up, just block them straight away.

Somebody said they were from the traffic department about a small crash. Problem is, I don’t even drive. Never been in any accident either, and I really didn’t like getting woken up in the middle of my night shift. As soon as I mentioned cold calling is against the law, they ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a 3rd party, wouldn’t say if they were from O2 insurance or whatever. Kept pressing me for details, then handed me over to some “manager” who said I had a claim sorted and was owed money. I ended the call there, then they rang back so I blocked the number.
