I got two calls this week from different phone numbers, both saying they were from the housing association's disrepair team. Thing is, I already have the contact details for my local repairs team, and they definitely aren’t anywhere near Manchester. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Somebody rang saying they were from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme about a 'claim' I supposedly had. When I asked which property they were talking about, they named an old place I’d lived at. But when I pushed for the move-in date, they couldn’t answer, which seems odd since the TDS would know that for sure. Pretty sure this was a scam, so watch out and don’t trust this sort of call.
