Been getting like 5 or more calls every day from some Asian folks talking about insurance or something, barely giving any details about us. They keep asking for someone just by their first name. I told the bloke to quit calling since we ain't interested. When I complained, they said I was being transferred to a supervisor but it was just the same dumb guy still on the line. Quite frustrating!

I have no idea how this supposed company can ring me from a number that isn't even active! BT really ought to step in and sort this out.

Got a really frustrating call from a firm calling themselves UK Protect. The woman on the line, sounded Asian, asked if she could speak with my husband by name. Thing is, he passed away about 12 years ago! Yet they were still trying to offer him life insurance. Definitely blocked their number - feels like a scam to me.

This number rang me up the other day. A lady with an Asian accent said I ought to get Life Insurance through them. When I asked which company it was, she said UK Protect. But when I tried calling back, BT told me the number wasn’t in service anymore. Total scam, so I blocked it straight away.

Received a call but they didn’t leave any voicemail and didn’t engage in conversation. I’m fairly certain it’s a scam, as I’ve encountered similar issues in the past where they claimed to represent BT.
