Be cautious, folks! I recently encountered a dodgy situation where someone posing as O2 reached out, claiming I was eligible for a cherished discount. They insisted I provide a security code to access my account so they could arrange a shiny new phone for me - all without my consent! After I gave them the code, they promptly locked me out of my account. A little while later, I was informed that there had been an error with the order. To add insult to injury, when the new phone arrived, they instructed me to return it to some random location that had nothing to do with O2! Now, I’m stuck paying for a phone I never wanted, and my original device is nowhere to be found. What a nightmare! Stay vigilant, everyone - these swindlers are truly appalling!

I received a call from the O2 promotions team, apparently reaching out to their faithful customers who consistently settle their bills promptly. It's a bit amusing, really, as I'm not even a customer of O2, nor do I have any contract with them!
