I received a call supposedly from Curry / PC World, where the person claimed to be part of their marketing team and was spruiking phone offers. However, when I probed a bit and asked for his location, he insisted he was in London, despite the caller ID clearly indicating a number from Manchester. It felt very much like a phishing scam to me, to say the least!
