You can put a stop to those persistent calls by using ring barring through BT or other phone providers. Essentially, you have the option to decline certain calls - just get in touch with your provider for the details. That'll certainly put an end to the nuisance!

We've been getting calls from this number for what feels like an eternity, both on our mobile and our landline. Every time we pick up, they hang up without a word. It’s rather frustrating, especially since it's Robinson Way who have our details. If they really needed to contact us, they could simply drop us a letter. We maintain an account with them that is fully settled, so there's really no reason for these incessant calls. It almost feels like some sort of prank, the way they keep messing about like this!

I have received persistent calls from the same chap on several occasions, inquiring about a young lady he believes resides in the area, but certainly not at my residence. I’ve had the misfortune of speaking to this very same man repeatedly, yet he seems utterly oblivious to the fact that he’s after someone who has no connection to my household. For a solid month, he rang me daily, and even though it’s been just weeks since the last call, I finally had to firmly tell him to cease his relentless ringing. Thankfully, it appears that I’ve now been spared from his incessant communications.

I find myself in the same boat, having eventually managed to speak with a really pleasant lady named Fiona who kindly didn’t hang up on me! They’re a company called Robinson Way, essentially debt collectors acting on behalf of several organisations, one of which happens to be Next (yikes, seems I neglected that payment!). In any case, this lovely lady has arranged for us to receive a follow-up call from the appropriate department to apologize, and she’s also provided the necessary details for filing a formal complaint regarding being abruptly hung up on multiple times throughout the week!

We're getting an incessant barrage of calls on both our mobile and our supposed ex-directory landline! It's like they're on a wild goose chase for someone who clearly isn't there!

I gave them a bell again, seems someone has passed on my number to them incorrectly.

I've been receiving calls from this number incessantly for several days now. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to pick up the phone and see what was going on. The caller claimed to be from the mobile network Three, offering me a complimentary mobile phone, a stylish new case, and seemingly endless free calls and texts. Naturally, I thought, "Why not?" But the catch came when they asked for my bank details, including sort code, account number, and the three-digit security code on the back of my card. I've had a mate who fell victim to a similar scam and ended up losing nearly £900 as those crooks splurged on a TV and a laptop with his info before he could cancel the card. Seriously, folks, do yourselves a favour and don’t engage with this number-they're nothing but fraudsters from London!

I've received numerous calls from this number, and every time I answer, the line just goes silent after a few moments. It's ever so frustrating! We’ve got our number listed with the TPS, yet I’m starting to think we might need to consider call blocking if this keeps up.

I recently received a couple of calls intended for individuals I've never known. One was linked to my address, while the other seemed to belong to a completely different location. Curious enough, I thought I’d share my experience here. They mentioned that it was regarding a "private business." Honestly, it feels suspiciously like a debt collection scam to me. In any case, it certainly doesn't concern me at all!

It’s quite puzzling really! My folks keep getting calls from this number, and it’s meant for my sibling who hasn’t lived with them for more than thirty years now. To top it off, their phone number was ex-directory, so it’s baffling how these callers got hold of it. Even more strange is that my parents are on the Telephone Preference Service list, so it’s all a bit of a mystery as to why these people are still trying to reach them!

Rang me at 9 in the morning, just blasted some tunes through the line before hanging up. Really quite infuriating!

I started getting calls earlier today from one of several numbers that have been pestering us ever since we opted out of BT's privacy settings. It seemed ridiculous to be charged £1.75 for minimal usage! I don't quite see the connection between that decision and the calls we're receiving, though. We have an answering machine, yet these callers never leave a message - a proper company would definitely do so. It's baffling; as soon as you pick up, there's utter silence on the other end, before they simply hang up!

I received a missed call from this number and decided to return the call. Turns out, it connected me to a switchboard, but they were rather unhelpful when I asked for the company's name. Instead, they asked for my information, but since we were hesitant to share any details, the call was abruptly ended. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

I recently received a couple of calls from numbers I’ve never seen before, seeking individuals I’ve never heard of. One pertained to my address and the other appeared to be from a different location entirely. It’s curious enough to make me want to investigate further. The caller mentioned something about a “private business,” which leads me to suspect they might be debt collectors. Honestly, it has nothing to do with me at all!

It appears to be a marketing line for mobile phones. These folks purport to be affiliated with O2, yet occasionally they refer to Orange instead. It’s all part of a random cold calling scheme, really. There’s not a great deal you can do to stop it, unfortunately.

They keep ringing us up, hounding us about a debt they claim we owe. Why can’t they just send us a letter instead?

We’ve recently relocated, and amidst the chaos of moving, we’ve switched several things around - our bank accounts, mobile number, and even our broadband provider. I share the sentiment of many others on this site; we have no outstanding debts and choose not to answer these calls. It seems I receive one daily, typically just after six in the evening, yet not a single voicemail is ever left. I reckon it might be wise to consider blocking this number, as it seems to be a classic case of a silent caller.

Honestly, I’ve been getting calls from these folks about three times a day on my mobile. They’re relentless, and not once do they bother to leave a message. It’s beyond annoying! Is there any chance I could manage to block these calls on my phone? I reckon I might just pick up and stay silent next time to see how long they maintain their little game of “let’s keep calling”! It might bring me a moment of amusement amidst the frustration!

I’ve just had a puzzling experience trying to track down an elusive ring on our landline linked to this number. After going through various other comments, it’s a relief that we weren’t home at the time. We don’t have any debts with anyone, not even a credit card, so we’re really left scratching our heads as to why these folks keep giving me a call. Quite curious!

I've been bombarded with calls from this dodgy number claiming to be O2, going on about some unbelievable deal for a contract phone at half price due to January sales. It's absolutely ludicrous! They even had the cheek to ask for my wife's bank information. Please, don’t be taken in by these crooks; they're nothing but a bunch of scammers trying to fleece you! Stay vigilant, folks!

Without a doubt, it's those chaps from Robinson Way, those debt collection lot. Oddly enough, even if your accounts are all in order, they seem to delight in ringing you every couple of weeks, pestering you about when you might be able to bump up your payments to clear off that remaining balance more swiftly. It's quite the nuisance, really!
