It appears that the debt we supposedly owe traces back to npower. Curiously, we settled and closed that account way back in February 2007. Yet, out of the blue in February 2008, we received a rather trivial bill from them. Naturally, we returned it with an explanation, but ever since, we've been inundated with harassing calls from their side. We've now got Caller ID on our phone and have made the decision to ignore any future calls from them. I’d strongly advise anyone to invest in Caller ID - it’s been a real game changer for us. What a right palaver! These numpties called us, inquiring about some address that has nothing to do with our phone number! When we called back to get to the bottom of it-quite reasonably, I might add-they hung up on us! All we wanted was a bit of clarity, like the name of their company and what on earth they were actually about! Quite cheeky, if you ask me!

We've been getting a barrage of calls from these chaps who are after someone who apparently lived here before. Despite our repeated explanations that this individual no longer resides at this address, they persist in ringing us. We’ve made it clear that if they continue to hound us with their incessant calls, we will lodge a complaint for harassment. Their response was rather cheeky; they claimed they'd keep calling until we could confirm the current resident’s identity. We consider this an unnecessary nuisance and potentially intimidating, so we'll be taking steps to report these bothersome callers.

I received a call today at 8:15 PM. The person on the line asked, "Could we speak to Chelsea?" I replied, "I think you've got the wrong number." They persisted, questioning, "Is this XXX XXXXX Road?" I confirmed, only to hear a click as they hung up. It felt like mindless annoyance from them, and I reckon there’ll be consequences for such behaviour.
