Even when they chime in with promises about removing your details from their 'list', the calls just don’t stop. Occasionally, they might even send letters to your place. And if they mention sending someone round to your home - fret not! Nobody has the right to enter your property without prior consent. It’s the law, so if a representative from one of these dodgy companies shows up, you’ve got every right to send them packing! If you’ve got a smart device, I highly recommend loading one of the numerous free 'call blocking' applications available. They can provide much-needed tranquillity, ensuring that only calls from those stored in your contacts come through. Be aware of your rights and refuse to let these lowlives rattle you!

They’ll promise to remove your details from their list but don’t believe it - the calls and letters keep coming. And if they say they’re going to visit you at home, don’t panic. Mind you, they aren’t allowed to show up unannounced; it’s against the law. So if some do turn up uninvited, just tell them to jog on. If you use a smartphone, definitely get one of those free call blocker apps. It’s a lifesaver and means you’ll only hear from people you actually know. Got a call from this number and it really sounded like someone was upset and crying. Felt quite worried about what was going on.

Got a call from this number and they started asking for my private info. I didn't fall for it and refused to share anything. Then they went on about me failing some "security check" and said they'd post me a letter. Yeah, right, as if!

I’m honestly at my wit’s end with these calls, they won’t stop buzzing my phone. It’s been nonstop and my 12 year old lad is getting them too, which is just not on. Who even are these lot and how do we make the madness end? It’s been dragging on forever and I’ve no clue what we’re supposed to do about it.

I get calls from this number like three times daily between 8 in the morning and midnight. I never pick up if I don't know the number, so they’re basically just wasting their time.

My landline just got a call from this number. When I picked up, the caller didn’t identify themselves and asked for someone by my first name, but got the surname wrong. When I tried to find out who was on the other end, they just ended the call. Bit odd, really.

This number kept ringing me nonstop, like 27 times in one day! I wasn’t picking up because I’m waiting for an important call about my mum who’s seriously unwell right now. Luckily, I have caller ID and didn’t recognise the number - wasn’t expecting anyone from that side. I did answer once before and it sounded like a call centre, but they just hung up straight away. I recently switched my number over with BT and honestly, they couldn't care less to help me out. My bill was around £38 before, but since all these calls started, it’s shot up by almost £20 whenever I pick up. Feels like BT is sneaking charges on me or something. I’ve just launched my own business and this is the last thing I need dragging me down.
