0161 883 3132 They rang me four times today, and twice of those were within ten minutes. There’s no message on the voicemail either. I haven’t bothered returning the call. I’ve never picked up when this number called me before, so I’m not sure what they wanted.

I’ve stopped picking up calls after getting loads of annoying phone rings since a minor fender bender back in May. Every time I block one number, they just tweak the last couple of digits and call again. I got this flashing gadget for my landline, which came preloaded with over 5000 blocked numbers, so now the nuisance calls on my landline have pretty much stopped. I just ignore any 0800, 02, or 0161 numbers unless I know them. Legitimate people usually leave a voicemail anyway.

This number has rung me about 4 times just this week. Missed the first three calls but answered the last one, where they claimed to be from RA Legal. I've been getting lots of dodgy calls ever since my car crash, so I just ended the call straight away. When I tried calling the number back, it went to an automated voicemail from Voipfone. I've also sent a complaint to their abuse@voipfone email to let them know about this.

Got a message from someone claiming they can stop annoying calls! The number seems to be a fairly new one rented from Voipfone and when I tried ringing back, it just went straight to voicemail. Since I've been with Voipfone for years, I’ve decided to drop an email to their Managing Director about it. Also, just to clear up, that number is actually a standard area code from Manchester, not some weird block or anything.

They keep ringing both my landline and my mobile, even though I blocked their number on my mobile. Somehow they’ve managed to get round that. I warned them I was going to report them to the cops. The calls stopped for a bit, but soon started up again. Now they’re calling without any caller ID showing. The annoying number is 01618833643.

I had the exact same thing happen. Seems like they’re trying to dodge paying for their calls or something! Bet if you call back, it’ll hit you with a ridiculously high premium charge. I ended up blocking that number straight away.

My phone rang out of the blue. When I picked up, there was a recorded voice saying that all the agents from (name of marketing company) were busy and they’d get back to me later. Quite annoying!
