Got a call from 01617918280 today. Picked up and was met with a recorded message pretending to be from HMRC. It sounded dodgy straight away, especially since it was Saturday morning. They warned me about some legal trouble if I didn't call them back - yeah right! Honestly, HMRC wouldn’t call like that or expect a callback from me. It just didn’t add up, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.
