Just got a call from some guy called Ross claiming to be from Your Lotto Service UK, telling me I was getting 10 free lottery tickets. I told him I was sceptical and asked why they'd just give tickets away. He said it was some sort of promo to encourage me to buy lottery tickets through them going forward. I told him we don't play the lottery at all, but he kept pushing the 'offer'. I repeated again that we don't bother with the lottery. Still, he insisted he'd send the free tickets anyway. Honestly, I doubt I’ll ever see anything arrive.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with a security alarm firm. He'd tried ringing me two times before from the same number but I missed it. What's weird is that this call landed right after I had another one about winning some national lottery and free scratch cards - seemed a bit dodgy. The guy was fairly polite, so I could see how someone might actually fall for it. Told him if I was gonna renew, I’d do it on my own anyway.
