Got a call with a thick Mancunian accent claiming I'd won 10 free lottery tickets. They rang me thrice but always cut off as soon as I picked up. When I dialled them back, the man with the accent answered but was rude and refused to chat unless I had my partner on the line. Then they started grilling us for personal info. My partner wasn't having any of it and promptly hung up. They’ve been pestering us the whole week now - proper nightmare.

This number has been ringing me up loads since 24/08/20, sometimes multiple times each day. Luckily my phone lets me block calls, so I just ignore them and have a little laugh. The person on the other end kept going on about some UK lottery, which was odd since I don’t even take part in anything like that. After a bit, I got fed up and just ended the call. I don’t think it’s anything harmful, no threats or anything, but they are definitely annoying with how often they keep calling.

Got a call on my phone yesterday from a guy who said his name was Josh, sounded English. Claimed to be from the UK Lottery and knew my name plus the first part of my address, asked if it was right. I don’t play the lottery at all. It’s pretty alarming they had all my info like that - my number, name and where I live! Needless to say, I’ve put him on BLOCK.

What a bunch of muppets calling from 0161 870 1523! These lot act like you’re meant to be gobsmacked by their rubbish script, but honestly it’s just a joke. Proper amatuer hour, and honestly pretty pathetic. Can't imagine they con more than one person out of a thousand if that. I hope they get nabbed and face some serious consequences, mostly for wasting everyone’s time. Funny enough, the same woman keeps ringing me, and after about five calls, I find her dead unconvincing and almost amusing - poor sod must have a bleak life.

I just got a call from this number, and the person said they were from the National Lottery offering me 10 free lines for Wednesday's draw. They claimed they’d send the numbers to me by post, but before that, they wanted me to set up a direct debit for 12 weeks and give my bank details over the phone. I told them I’d be happy to get the free lines in the post first, then decide about the direct debit. As soon as I said that, they hung up. Pretty sure it’s a scam and I won’t be getting anything from them.

Got a phone call about 10 free Lucky Dip tickets. They asked if I played the lottery, and I said well, if it’s the National Lottery, they’d already know I’ve got an account with them. Then the person on the phone snapped back saying they never claimed to be from the National Lottery, just Lotto, and told me not to put words in their mouth! I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
