They go by the name Accident Advice Centre and have been pestering us nonstop for months. After my son was in a car crash, they started calling every day, non stop. Even when I’ve told them to stop and told them off, they just won’t quit. When you try to challenge them, they get really rude and aggressive. The last time I got a call, I played along so I could get their info to report them to Ofcom. After loads of questions, the caller let it slip that they’re actually working for some ambulance chasers called Lance Mason and mentioned MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) too. If anyone else gets called by these people, block them immediately and make sure you report them to the Telephone Preference Service and Ofcom.

I got a call from a bloke who said he was with the Accident Info Service. He claimed they collect details from folks who've been in car crashes to make sure everything’s sorted properly. He somehow knew I'd had a crash recently and even the exact date, so for a moment I thought it might be genuine. He asked if my car was fixed yet, if I got a courtesy car, whether the other driver's insurer had reached out, and if I was making a personal injury claim. When I told him I was fine with how my own insurance was handling things, he just said alright and hung up. I searched online for 'Accident Info Service' but could find nothing, so I reckon it’s just some firm fishing for injury claim leads.
