I received a call that was supposedly from our insurance company, claiming they wanted to help us with an injury claim after our recent mishap. I could tell something was off straight away, so I requested the caller to share some specific details to verify their identity, considering our case had already been forwarded to their solicitors. They put me on hold, but within moments, the young chap - sounding like a callow teen - abruptly disconnected the call. Clearly, just another run-of-the-mill scam artist. Best to steer clear of them!

Received a call purporting to be from our insurance company after that accident we had recently, claiming they were keen to "assist with our injury claim." I requested some verification details to ensure he was who he said he was, well aware that our insurers have handed everything over to their legal team. Next thing I know, I was left hanging on the line. This chap-sounded like a cheeky teenager-decided to cut the call a moment later. Clear as day this is a scam. Best to steer well clear!
