They’re sayin they’re from some Government advisory team, tryin to send info about PPI. Sounds like a total scam just tryna collect names and addresses for other dodgy schemes. Best just block’em if you get a call from them.

I got a call from someone about a crash I was in. I told them it wasn’t serious, but they kept pushing me to say it was worse so I could get some payout. Had a call like that just recently. They tried to persuade me I should claim compensation even though I clearly said it wasn’t too bad. In the end, I felt guilty and decided not to proceed. Now I’m getting at least three calls every day!

They kinda pushed me to say I was hurt. Then they handed me over to Emerald Law who said if I wasn’t planning to claim, don’t go any further. Now I’m getting loads of calls saying I made some verbal contract and they can invoice me. But Emerald Law told me that’s rubbish and if they keep ringing, I should tell them to talk to Emerald Law instead.

This number rang me like three times every day for nearly a month and I kept missing the calls, but when I finally answered a bloke called Will said I might be able to get compensation for an accident I had more than a year ago. I’ve been getting loads of calls like this, plus from other numbers too. I had a minor accident last year, thankfully no one hurt. From what I gather, even small accidents get recorded on this government-backed database called The Insurance Portal or something like that, meant to make claim settlements faster. But now these scoundrels are using it as a way to try and squeeze money out of people. My advice? Either ignore them or tell them you'll charge them £10 a minute for wasting your time on the phone. The law actually supports you on this!

Back on Good Friday in 2015, I was involved in a no fault accident. Ever since, my phone number seems to be all over the place, especially from Manchester-based callers pretending to be some accident management firms with cash ready to compensate me for injuries. The thing is, my claim was sorted ages ago and I wasn’t hurt at all. It’s just ambulance chasers! On top of that, loads of other random numbers from all parts of the country keep ringing. I reckon either my insurer, the other party’s insurer, or the garage that fixed my car must have sold my number. Now, I just ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers altogether!
