Got a call from this woman claiming they had cheap security cameras available in my neighbourhood. What threw me off was she actually used my name, which made me suspicious straight away. Got a call from someone claiming to be from a firm called Home Security based in Deansgate, Manchester. They said they wanted to visit my place to check it out and try to sell me a home security system. They insisted they were genuine and mentioned they’re on Trustpilot, but when I checked, nothing showed up. The company isn’t registered as a limited company either. They wouldn’t send any info by post or email and admitted they don’t have a website. Felt really dodgy to me, so I wouldn’t trust them at all. Definitely be careful if they ring you!

On 18th Dec 2023 around half past twelve, some Nicola rang me about Home Security. When I asked her how she got hold of my number, she just hung up on me. I'm registered with the TPS, but these lot keep trying anyway. Last week it was some insulation deal for the loft. So bloody irritating!

Complete scam, they ring up about home security stuff. I told them we’ve already got an alarm system and asked why they wanted make and model.
