This 0161 820 9241 number from Manchester messaged me about owing money and offered to lower it. I called them back and quickly worked out it was a scam since they asked for my bank info. They also threatened me that my benefits would be cut off if I didn’t pay. I've got tons of emails that show they’re dodgy, but I’m not sure who to report this to.

I got a call from 0161 820 9241 this morning around 9.10am. At first, I was on another line and ended the call thinking it was just some telesales rubbish. Then the same man rang me back but this time he was proper rude and started swearing at me! I kept calm and didn’t say anything bad, but he came across as really hostile and even threatening. Honestly, it was way over the line and something ought to be looked into because I hadn’t asked for any call or service from him. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

Got a call today from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice. Told them to stop calling and blocked the number after they hung up on me. Then I get another call, this time from a 0161 number, and they started threatening me, calling me horrible names and warning me not to hang up again. I ended the call straight away and blocked that number as well.

I’ve had this number 01618202703 keep ringing me on my pay as you go phone loads, so I just stopped picking up. They don’t seem to take a hint and kept calling over and over, like multiple times an hour some days, for example at 12:30 then again at 12:40, really driving me mad. Eventually I had to put them on block. If I were you, I’d just block the number too.

someone rang me saying they were prospero advice, asked me nicely to take me off their list but then wanted my full name, address and email to "confirm" it. i told them where to shove it, not giving any info to dodgy callers! seriously, how can people be that daft? NEVER hand over your personal stuff to these scammers. it smells like a call centre trying to grab your details to sell on to who knows who. the weird thing is, after the call goes dead, they want you to ring back so they can check the number is still active with their software. what a load of rubbish! hope that clears things up :)
