I said hello and they just hung up straight away. I reckon if your voice sounds sharp or savvy, they ain't interested. Feels like they’re going after older folks though. You can tell when someone sounds a bit older and more vulnerable, these scumbags are just preying on them. My phone flagged it as a scam so I was on my guard right away. Take care everyone, watch out for these ones.

I received a call from a lady asking if I wanted a mobile phone. I went ahead and ordered the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 512 GB. However, after two days, she shipped me an iPhone with only 64 GB. To make matters worse, she seemed to have accessed my banking information, claiming I wouldn't be charged anything-which clearly wasn’t true. She suggested that if I was dissatisfied with the phone, I should simply send it back to her at 221 Tennal Road, B32 2HH, Birmingham. I did a bit of digging and discovered that this address is a residential property and not a business. After I returned the phone, she completely ghosted me when I tried to reach her. I’m going to report this to the police, and I urge anyone who’s faced a similar issue to do the same. It’s concerning because I noticed a charge of £32.99 from Tesco Mobile Ltd on my bank statement. I've already alerted both Tesco Mobile and my bank about the situation. Please, if you've been affected, contact the authorities!

Showed up on my caller ID as "Likely Scam". I didn’t pick up, but after reading the comments, I reckon it was wise not to. Rang me twice back to back, maybe trying to make me answer. I’d say steer clear!

Got a call from a lady who sounded like she had an accent from somewhere like India. When I asked what company she was representing, she responded with a bunch of nonsense, as if she'd just made up a name. I told her I wasn't familiar with it, and then she told me to check their website to confirm it was legit. The site address she gave me was complete rubbish too. Definitely fake and seemed like a scam to me. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I got a bloke on the phone with a thick accent, reckoned he was selling phones or something. Wouldn't listen when I said no, so I just ended the call. He phoned back a couple of times, but I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent trying to flog me a phone. I found it odd when she picked up saying “hello dear” instead of a company name. She kept pushing this supposed 50% off deal, and when I said no, she kept saying “but why not, it’s a fantastic offer?” I ended the call pretty sharpish.

This number keeps ringing my home phone and usually I just ignore it, but today a woman answered who was really hard to understand. I did catch the word ‘coronavirus’ though. When I asked who it was, she tried to hang up straight away, but there was loads of crackling and a noise like paper rustling. After a bit, I heard her say ‘oh, s**t’ and then the call ended.
