I received a call from 01618185660 just ten minutes after I posted an ad for my car on Gumtree. It’s almost routine at this point; I pick up and say, "Let me guess, this is about some accident I’ve supposedly been involved in?" More often than not, they hang up immediately. Sometimes, when I’m feeling particularly mischievous, I play along and spin a wild tale about how I was taken away by aliens during the crash-absolutely hilarious, yet it can be rather tiresome too!
