got a call sayin they was from my insurers about an accident, they knew loads about me but not all the details. went through the claim stuff but then things got weird when i said i wasnt making a claim, they got really pushy. sounds like a total scam. now i keep getting calls from them non stop.

Complete fraud, pretending to be from your insurance company to discuss an accident. I contacted my insurers who were unaware of any accident involving me since they received no reports.

Considering I was not responsible for the accident, I declined to use their services. However, I am now bombarded with multiple claims from various lawyers, which is not only wasting my time but also causing inconvenience to my insurers.

Said they were from my insurance but turns out it’s some claims company trying to grab info about my case to pass onto other lawyers. My actual insurer had no clue what was happening since it’s got nothing to do with them. Just be careful.

They pretended to be my insurance and got all hostile when I asked questions. They said they’d open a claim with a third party cause my car is “brand new and valuable” and that Nationwide would handle repairs, but Nationwide don’t even deal with them. She even tried to convince me my car couldn’t be driven lol.

When I caught on and said I wanted to use my own insurance, they got really rude. I told them it wasn’t obvious they weren’t my insurer, and the guy, who said his name was George, just snapped back, "why should we bother?"

We had a crash and searched the claim number for our insurance provider right after it happened. This firm, ‘Smart Accident Claims,’ popped up alongside our insurer’s name. They acted like they were arranging repairs and a hire car, but we soon got a bad feeling and rang our actual insurance, who said they’d never heard of them. Complete con. It’s awful how they target people when they’re already stressed. When we confronted them about the trickery, they just asked if we wanted to close the claim. Proper dodgy. Steer clear, seriously.

People calling from this phone number are pretending to be from the Smart accidents claim line. BE CAREFUL, this company isn’t real and isn’t FCA registered. They seem to be operating through a few different companies to cover up their dodgy behaviour. They are linked to BLACKTHORN REPAIR MANAGEMENT LTD, company number 12954350, who are connected to NATIONWIDE ACCIDENT HIRE LIMITED, company number 09891301. They say they’re working “with” Nationwide Accident Hire but it’s hard to find where it leads after that. Really worrying stuff.

I shared the details before. These folks could be scammers but honestly, they’re quite convincing. They rang at the exact same time as genuine callers. Also, they phoned twice on the day everything happened. They said they’d sort out the car hire and repairs. They wanted me to create a password to use every time I dealt with them. They mentioned two companies, Nationwide Accident Hire which actually has a website, then asked me to send all pictures to something called Smart Accident Claims Line.

Got a call from a firm named Smart Accident Claims after someone smashed into my car. They’re helping sort out my insurance and the replacement car while dealing with the person who caused the crash.

Got a call from some scammers pretending to be Smart Cars Ltd, claiming they want to handle my car insurance claim after an accident. They mentioned Blackthorn but I reckon it’s nothing to do with them. Best just ring your own insurance provider directly!

This number rang me 44 times over just 3 days! I finally picked up and spoke to a person, and I cheekily asked if he can scratch his own back side - he said yes and cracked up. We ended up having a proper laugh together after that.

Around 8pm, I received a call from this number which unfortunately I missed. I made an attempt to return the call but was met with some waiting music and an automated message kindly asking me to wait for an available representative. Once I submitted a form on the MSN home page for a Northern Rock PPI check advertisement, I received a phone call from a person stating that they would be sending me some documents to sign. During the conversation, the caller asked for my date of birth, which unfortunately I provided. Additionally, I unintentionally gave away my postcode as the person was able to locate it using the online Post Office address search. It's hard to believe that I made such a mistake.

Honestly, just give em a miss. Look up EGG PPI and write to Canada Square Operations - they’re the ones dealing with the claims. JPS Financial take a massive 30% plus VAT and just send one or two letters. Complete muppets using fake names like “James Brandwood” to cover themselves.

It's about PPI. If you just looked up if you qualify for PPI, like for an Egg credit card, they tend to ring you to handle it for you. Usually, you fill in your info on an online form and thats why they give you a call.
