I received a dubious call on behalf of my car insurance, purportedly acting for them.

Those Harrington lot have been bothering me lately! A couple of weeks back, I told them to take me off their list under the data protection rules. I even warned them I'd complain to trading standards and the financial ombudsman if they kept it up. They swore they'd delete my info, but I’m still getting calls from them. Just like others have said, the moment I pick up, they cut off. Tried ringing them back too - same dead silence!

This number, 01618147 168, keeps calling me non-stop on my mobile. Every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away. Fed up, I rang them back to find out who they were, but they ended the call instantly. On another try, when I called again, someone said they were from HA Advisory. I told them to take my number off their list and warned I’d report them to trading standards. After I said this, they cut me off, then immediately rang me right back and hung up again. Proper annoying!

I changed my mind and now want Harringtons Advisory to delete my info from their records. I never agreed to anything formally, but they keep coming up with all sorts of reasons why they won’t take it out. Really frustrating.

Got a call from HA Advisory about some PPI stuff. Told them I wasn’t keen and asked to have my info wiped from their records. This woman, ‘Samira’, said she couldn’t do that and said I’d keep getting calls anyway. When I requested their postal address, she just said something vague like Manchester city and wouldn’t give me more details. Then she went on to claim they’re connected to the Ministry of Justice?! Bit fishy if you ask me.
