I’ve received numerous calls about PPI from different numbers, and this one rang through as well. I noticed it’s an 0161 number, which is definitely from Manchester, but that 8 in the sequence seems a bit off as it’s not a recognised code. I've already blocked several of these 01618 numbers, yet they keep altering the last digits to ring me again. It's a never-ending cycle of blocking them, I suppose! - caller: 01618148987

I received an unwelcome phone call regarding supposed PPI claims. The chap on the line insisted I had lodged a claim five years back, yet when I pressed for specifics, he seemed completely lost. The first call was from a company calling itself First Claims, and on the second attempt, they presented themselves as First Advise. The person who rang was a 'John Mackenzie'. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I received a rather perplexing call from an outfit calling themselves THE LEGAL CONSULTANCY, inquiring about some PPI claim they insisted I'd filed in the past. I find it utterly baffling, as I’ve never submitted a claim, nor have I ever had any PPI in the first place! It's all quite misleading, to say the least!
