Upon picking up the call, I was met with the sound of a woman’s voice simply stating, “goodbye.” Is there a chance to respond in kind to this anonymous individual lacking the guts to identify themselves?

This number has reached out to me multiple times. Initially, it was a chap with a robotic voice-I didn’t bother to stick around and just ended the call. But today, a woman’s voice simply said “goodbye” and then disconnected. It’s beyond irritating, especially since I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service.
