Classic con artists ringing up about some car crash, even though they don’t know anything other than my last name. I played along for a couple of minutes just to see where they were going with it. Then the bloke started saying he had to verify if all the accident charges were sorted. That’s when I asked him who was actually in the accident and if he had any specifics about the vehicles. Right after that, he suddenly got quiet and quickly ended the call. I’ve already told the police about this number.

This number called me a bunch saying I’d been in a car crash in the past couple years. I knew it wasn’t true, so I cheekily asked what colour their pants were before they suddenly ended the call. Proper funny!

Had one of those PPI marketing calls the other day, which is rare for me cos I usually just ignore. I explained I didn’t have any claim to a young woman, she apologised and said she’d remove me from their list. But next day, some cheeky bloke rings up - I told him “already spoke to someone about this”. Now they bother me every day, same time, same number. I just block the number anyway. These poor sods must be desperate to hit their targets, proper harassment.

I received a rather dubious call regarding a so-called car accident I was supposedly involved in. They seemed to have my name and my current address, which was rather concerning. Upon my revelation that I'm employed with the police force, they hastily ended the conversation. Quite the clear attempt at a car accident scam, if you ask me! What was it they called themselves again? Something about 'first claim'?
