I got a call from a company calling themselves 'Friends Finance' claiming they were doing a survey and said I was selected for a policy that could help me. I asked how they had my number since I’m registered with TPS. The person insisted I’d recently completed one of their forms, which isn’t true. While talking, I quickly searched 'Friends Finance' online and only found a car finance firm, not this company. Turned out, the caller was actually from a Debt Management company. When I asked for their name again, he snapped, "Sir, I already told you my company name!" I told him I might’ve misheard and politely asked again. Then he said, "If you’re just going to waste my time, this package would really help you." I cut him off and said I’d report them to the Information Commissioner’s Office - if enough people complain, they might get in trouble. - caller: Friends Finance Company.

Today alone, they've called me like 17 times! They never say who they actually are. They always ring my mobile, but Vodafone says I have to pay if I want them blocked. Looks like my only choice now is to report them for bothering me constantly.
